Olga is a Senior Associate with Global Health Visions, where she works on the Gender Equality, Women’s Health/SRHR, and Digital Public Infrastructure portfolios and provides cross-cutting strategic support to Gates Foundation Global Policy, Advocacy and Communications teams. She brings six years of experience and a steadfast commitment to sexual and reproductive health and rights, with a focus on strategic advocacy, coalition leadership, and evidence translation.
Previously, Olga worked as a federal lobbyist with PAI, partnering with U.S. government leaders to increase investments in SRHR and remove abortion restrictions from global health funding accounts. In this role, she co-chaired the International Family Planning Coalition and Girls Not Brides USA, collaborating with advocates from Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Save the Children, World Vision, and the International Center for Research on Women. She has also supported program implementation and evaluation with Plan International El Salvador and The Health Research Unit Zimbabwe. Prior to transitioning into global health, Olga managed campaigns to elect pro-choice candidates to office in the Pacific Northwest and secure legislative victories advancing public health, gender equity, and LGBTQI+ rights.
Olga holds an MSc in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a BA in International Studies from the University of Washington. She is currently based in Seattle. Outside of work, Olga is an avid solo traveller and enjoys reading in parks, attending plays and concerts, and paddleboarding.
