Karlé Pittsinger is a Senior Associate at Global Health Visions, where she supports the Climate and Agriculture portfolios and provides cross-cutting expertise to the Global Health Institutions, Strategies, and Partnerships team. She brings a strong background in international development, climate finance, and project management, with experience spanning global health, women’s empowerment, and digital innovation.

Before joining GHV, Karlé worked at 4R Digital, a climate fintech, where she helped design and scale carbon mitigation and adaptation projects across Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia. In this role, she supported financial modeling, carbon market strategies, and inclusive credit access initiatives in partnership with M-PESA Africa.

Karlé began her career in the development sector at the Gates Foundation in the Gender Equality Division, where she managed projects focused on women’s economic empowerment, digital inclusion, and health equity. She coordinated strategy, partnerships, and operations across global teams, contributing to stronger collaboration and impactful outcomes across portfolios.

She also has a track record of leadership outside of her professional roles, having founded a nonprofit promoting access to sports for women and girls. In addition, Karlé captained the University of Washington Women’s Rowing Team to two national championships, an experience that strengthened her collaborative leadership and resilience in high-pressure environments.

Karlé holds an MSc in Emerging Economies and International Development from King’s College London and a BA in Business Administration and Philosophy from the University of Washington. She is currently based in London.
