Katy Bumpus

Katy Bumpus is a global health professional with 10+ years of experience working across private, government and non-profits sectors with expertise in advocacy, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, program strategy and research, particularly in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH). Most recently, Katy served as the Senior Business and Organizational Development Officer at White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) where she led global organizational strengthening efforts and played an active role in WRA’s partnership and business development. Prior to WRA, Katy spent eight years at the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation working with their Executive, Global Policy and Advocacy, and Maternal Newborn and Child Health teams focusing on strategy development, stakeholder engagement, program implementation, and key advocacy deliverables. She has supported projects and staff in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Katy has also worked on U.S. policy at state and national levels.

Katy received her Master of Public Policy degree from King’s College London and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of Kansas.
