Tegan Joseph Mosugu

Tegan is a global health pracademic (practitioner + academic), social impact consultant, and media professional. His research focuses on the use of evidence-based management as a tool for improving health care delivery in Africa. His global health worked has covered a portfolio of topics such as HIV/AIDS, Sexual & Reproductive Health, WASH, NTDs, etc. He is a Visiting Research Fellow at The Graduate Institute, Geneva where he is conducting pharmaceutical research on the impact of financialization in Africa.

Tegan's social impact work has addressed issues relating to gender/social equality, human rights, education, racial equity, etc. In addition, he has spearheaded a plethora of local and national campaigns in multiple countries. Tegan has worked on Emmy® Award-winning talk shows such as "The View" (Walt Disney Television), "The Rachael Ray Show" (CBS Media Ventures) as well as NBC Universal and BET Networks.

He holds a PhD in Public & International Affairs, and a Doctorate in health sciences. At age 19, Tegan earned his B.A. in History from Duke University. He is also an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and New York University, and has an executive certificate in business administration from Notre Dame.
