Liz has spent her 15+ year career working to strengthen health systems to provide higher quality care and improved experience. She has worked in and partnered with organizations spanning the public and private sectors, faith-based and secular organizations, and across the health care continuum.
Most recently she served asa senior consultant at Advisory Board, a global best practice research organization based out of Washington, DC. She led the development of a curriculum to develop healthcare executives who excel at leading transformative change in their organizations. She also led best practice research studies for strategy programs serving global hospital and health system CEOs. Prior to that, Liz was a special projects manager with a non-profit in Bellingham, Washington working to advance the Triple Aim in its community. While there she developed and implemented several novel programs that brought together stakeholders from across the care continuum.
Liz has lived in Romania and Nigeria, and part of her work in both countries involved maternal and child health initiatives. Her early career focused on strategy consulting for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Liz holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and their two daughters.
